I really enjoyed our stay, especially the fun game room and the cozy breakfast nook with delicious coffee and sandwiches. It was such a treat to relax in the sauna and unwind in the lounge area. The only downside was the limited parking spots, so get there early if you can 😊

Pleasant and homey place with free Wi-Fi and attached restaurant. Luxurious king room, exceptionally comfortable beds. Variety of appetising food at breakfast time. Excellent stay, as always.

would happily return
Our two nights in the Zed King Bed room were a blast! From the comfy seating area to the kitchenette with a toaster and electric kettle, it was perfect. The hot tub and sauna among the trees were such a treat. I loved the retro decor and the spacious shower. Tons of fun amenities like ping pong and arcade games.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Monique was very easy to chat to. She was excellent with the guests. On the other hand, Olivia was way to chatty, took 45 minutes to check in, she ran down another place which I feel is poor taste.
The resturant was only open for a few hours in the morning and than again a few hours in the evening, 7:30 am and than 6:00 P.M. This is a older facitly but very unique in its own way.

Unique charm in Tofino's forest
The retro decor surprised us in a good way. The hot tub nestled in the rainforest was a perfect end to our day of exploring, and the staff's warmth and recommendations.
The sauna was also outside, inconvenient in cooler weather.

good position
Staff no friendly. Old structure that needs renovation. Price too high for an old hotel.

We had the Queen suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. Loved the fireplace, jacuzzi tub, kitchen, table to eat and play games. I found our suite comfy and modern-Comfy bed. Loved that our dog was welcome and treated well.
I didn't like being on the third floor and I would have liked being on the main floor to take our dog in and out easily. The lobby and hall plants were plastic and Orca theme seemed dated looking. Go westcoast

The setting was great and the staff were enthusiastic people on both bear watching and whale watching tours discount with Jamie's Whaling Station receptionist. Distance to the airport was just 0.5 miles.

Also, location was quiet, around 10-15 minutes walk from a scenic beach.
Though everything was outstanding, some of the staff were average.

I almost thought about giving a good review until i noticed the loudly stomping guests above me, ruining my tranquility, and definitely no one seemed to care about the awkward hand towel rack placement directly in front of the sink! It's shocking that for such a trendy hotel, i wasn't offered an upgrade or something at least. Unreal.
